Simcha Preschool

Take a Look at our new Playground!

Simcha has three playgrounds: The toddler room has its own enclosed yard with structures and toys appropriate for children two to three. The preschool and pre-K rooms share a yard which contains a structure with slides and climbing, small vehicles, sandbox, and a kitchen/inventive play area. This yard is also equipped with the all-important "goodbye steps," donated by a parent who noticed that her children wanted to be lifted up to see her drive away. The large playground, which is set apart from the small yards, has structures, sand, and lots of room for running and biking. Parents donated and built our wonderful bike path.

Children enjoy the play structure in the shared preschool and pre-K yard.

Our "big yard" allows the larger children more space to run and has a more sophisticated climbing structure and tire swing. We also have a small gardening area and lots of room for picnicking.

Parents designed and contructed our bikepath where the kids get to race around on trikes.

Outdoors, we encourage the mixing of physical play and other projects such as art.
