Enrolling at Simcha

Thank you for your interest in Simcha Preschool at Temple Beth El in Aptos! We focus on building early Jewish identity by teaching children about Jewish holidays through art, science, cooking, stories, songs, and dramatic play.

  • We are a Jewish preschool where everyone is welcomed, and we encourage diversity.

  • Simcha is a cooperative preschool; we encourage parents to participate both inside and outside the classroom. We offer several options so that you can decide what works best for you and your family.

Classrooms and Ratios:

  • Toddler Class (2 - 3 years): limit 6 children, ratio 6:1
  • Preschool Class (3 - 4 years): limit 12 children, ratio 6:1
  • Pre-K Class (4 - 5 years): limit 16 children, ratio 8:1
